Cookie Policy

What is a cookie and what is it used for?

A cookie is a small file that is sent to the browser and saved on the user’s device, when they access and use the following websites (hereinafter, the “Sites”):

Cookies allow the Sites to function efficiently and improve their performance, including through the collection and analysis of aggregate information, which allow the Site manager to understand how to improve the structure of the Sites and their sections. Furthermore, through cookies it is possible to collect information for statistical purposes, mainly to customize the user’s browsing experience, remembering their preferences (for example, language, currency, etc.).

Which cookies do we use?

Technical cookies

Technical cookies can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the Sites (allowing, for example, for the coordination of the modules that make up the pages of the Sites or the correlation of the pages visited to the same work session) and analytical cookies, similar to technical cookies only if used for the purpose of optimizing the Sites directly by the site manager (so-called first-party analytical cookies) which can collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the Sites (for example, to create statistics of the most visited pages, to collect aggregate data of visits by operating system, by browser, etc.).

The use of session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) and software usage data necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site: session variables (known as cookies) can avoid the use of IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data of the user. Session cookies are not stored permanently on the user’s device, but are recorded locally for periods established according to the session variables (whose values stored on the hard disk of the device can be deleted; it is also possible to disable cookies by following the instructions provided by the main browsers).

Data analysis through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram buttons and widgets

While browsing the Sites, the user can also receive cookies on their device that are sent to interact directly with Social Platforms.

The Sites, in particular, incorporate buttons and widgets from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. These services allow you to interact with social media networks or other external platforms, directly from the pages of the Sites.

The interactions and information acquired through these tools are, in any case, subject to the user’s privacy settings relating to each social network, and accessible only to the managers of the same Platforms.

For more information on the methods of processing the data collected by social networks, please refer to the privacy policies of the suppliers of these services.

How can cookies be disabled?

Most browsers are configured to accept, check or possibly disable cookies through the settings. However, please note that disabling technical cookies, even partially, could compromise the functioning of the Sites and / or limit their functionality.

Below are the links to the instructions provided by the main browsers for managing the settings on the installation of cookies:
